A man was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving after an accident in Bath, Somerset on Sunday morning at 4:47am. The car had collided into railings before it went down to the hotel’s basement.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service rescued the first occupant of the Kia Picanto. The second occupant was already out of the car when emergency services arrived. The car in Queen Square is stuck 5 feet down the alleyway at the Francis Hotel.
A 19-year old man was released without condition for further investigations after being arrested under suspicion of driving unfit due to alcohol. The hotel was open, but people still came to look at the strange car.
